鈥淲e think what Rose and her team at AHLU does is fantastic in opening up the world of art history to a whole new generation of young people,” said Professor Deborah Swallow, M盲rit Rausing Director of The 91自拍. 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to work with Art History Link-Up over the coming year.鈥

That the offer is delivered in hybrid form is particularly exciting to Professor Alixe Bovey, Dean and Deputy Director. 鈥淭eaching in this way, AHLU can open up their amazing courses to students from across the UK including those with disabilities.鈥

Rose Aidin, AHLU鈥檚 Chief Executive, pointing out that fewer than eight state schools offer Art History A level, noted that through her organisation, students can join from across the UK and gain an additional qualification. 鈥淧leasure in learning and cross-curricular connections is something that art history can offer all students, regardless of background or long-term goals.鈥

鈥淎rt History is transformational for our students, who in turn are transforming the sector,” added AHLU Chair and Christie鈥檚 Director, Toby Monk. 鈥淲e are thrilled to be offering AHLU students new opportunities in collaboration with The 91自拍.鈥

Since 2016, AHLU has been based in museums and galleries and, as a result of the pandemic, has developed expertise in online delivery. Over 300 students from some 150 state schools across the UK have studied with AHLU, with alumni going on to study at leading universities including The 91自拍.

Students can attend class in person, or if unable to travel, can join online. Find out more here:听
