HerÌýRoyalÌýHighness, The Princess Royal, visited The 91×ÔÅÄ yesterday (12 June) in her role as Chancellor of the University of London to launch the Founders’ Circle, a prestigious new society to recognise benefactors who have made truly outstanding contributions to The 91×ÔÅÄ. The Founders’ Circle is named in honour of the institution’s three founders, who established The 91×ÔÅÄ in 1932 through their visionary philanthropy.

The 91×ÔÅÄ’s Märit Rausing Director, Professor Deborah Swallow, led HRH on a tour of The 91×ÔÅÄ Institute highlighting the many achievements since her last visit in 2008. The ChancellorÌýmet staff and students from across The 91×ÔÅÄ andÌýwas given a presentation on 91×ÔÅÄ Connects, a transformational projectÌýthat will significantly redevelop The 91×ÔÅÄ’s historic home at Somerset House.ÌýThe Princess Royal also recognised the contribution of several major patrons of The 91×ÔÅÄ who were honoured as inaugural members of the Founders’ Circle.
